SAVAGE DEITY x Asakusa Deathfest 2017
アジア全域で武者修行を続けるタイ王国の若きオールドスクーラー、SAVAGE DEITY。
2011年の結成以降、バンコク、ダッカ、大阪、クアラルンプールでのライブを経て、今年は初の東京公演を飾る。BOLT THROWERを彷彿とさせる熱苦しいギターの絡み、バキバキのベースと時にSLAYERの様にイーヴルなリフをあっさりと収斂させ、独自のデスラッシュを確立させている。
今夏には前作と同様、アメリカの地下レーベル Slaughterhouse Recordsより、新作 "Beyond the Sanctum" をリリース予定。戦争や歴史をテーマにした作品が多く、音楽的にも初期デスメタルの系譜に忠実だが、メンバー自身はジャパニーズ・メタルにも造詣が深く、そのエッセンスはソロなどでしっかりと聴かせてくれる。

Old school thrashin' deathheads, SAVAGE DEITY was formed in 2011. Hailing from the Kingdom of Siam, they have been expanding their battlefields from Bangkok to Dhaka, Osaka to Kuala Lumpur and finally, this is going to be their long-awaited first Tokyo set!
Brutal riffage and interweaving guitars reminiscent of BOLT THROWER powered by aggressive bass slapping, sometimes triggers SLAYER addicts in them, leading passage to more evil phrasing.
As their previous releases, Slaughterhouse Records will release another of their war/history-themed, blasting deathrash album this year.
