CARCINOID is an odorous cacophony spewing forth from the reeking underground grave of Melbourne, Australia since 2018. Bludgeoning the listener into submission with a death metal dirge and slowly eating
them away from the inside.
The band embodies both raw crushing death, and suffocating doom elements but also forges their sound by incorporating a plethora of sludge, punk and hardcore stylistic influences. Their sound is characterised by lo-fi guitars, distinct and prominent bass, feedback/noise and deep, growling vocals bringing old school influences from bands such as Autopsy, Pungent Stench, Brutal Truth, Paradise Lost, Napalm Death and Obituary.  
CARCINOID is a renowned top tier live band, known for bringing intensity to all of their performances and are excited to return to Asakusa DeathFest for the second time since 2019.

SEDIMENTUM is a death metal band hailing from Quebec City, Canada that have been putrefying minds since 2018. They released a critically acclaimed demo in 2019 that lead them to a deal with British label Me Saco Un Ojo that released their first album called “Suppuration Morphogénésiaque” in 2022 and the follow up mini-LP “Derrière Les Portes d’Une Arcane Transcendante” in 2024. They have acquired a solid reputation in Europe by playing Kill-Town Death Fest 2023 and touring over there twice, each time being praised for their sheer intensity, blazing through their setlist with acute precision and leaving everyone attending in awe. Their sound is often compared to notable bands from the early 90’s Finnish and UK death metal scene but they truly have developed a vibe of their own.

Asakusa Deathfest 2026


For all ADF fans and bands wants to play on Asakusa Deathfest 2026.
GOLD SOUNDS, Main fest venue in Asakusa is shut down and they looking for new place in Asakusa but not fix yet and it will be more take time to start new place if they found. 
So We decided to book different venue in Tokyo in this year.
Festival date will be held on end of November. 
We will announce about new venue as soon as possible, we think it will be end of February.

浅草のメイン会場 「GOLD SOUNDS」 は昨年、閉店となりましたが、現在移転先を探しておりますが、まだ確定しておらず、仮に場所が見つかった場合でも新規会場の準備にはさらに時間を要します。
そのため、本年は東京内の別会場を予約することに決定いたしました。
開催日は11月末を予定しております。
新会場については、2月末を目処にできるだけ早く発表いたします。

Formed in 2015 in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, the band’s original goal was to play death metal with hints of technicality and strong thrash metal influences, prioritizing the creation of songs packed with powerful riffs.
While this objective remains the same, the band is now exploring a broader spectrum of “Riff-Death Metal.”
They have performed as the opening act for Carnation on their Japan tour, as well as for Pestilence, Sinistar, and Undeath during their shows in Japan. They have also opened for Rotting Christ and Left to Die overseas, and in 2025 embarked on a two-week European tour with Malevolent Creation, Massacre, and Deathbringer (BY).
