RAPTURE KILLS WITH ANTI-MUSIC! ONWARDS TO TOTAL DEATH!" - RAPTURE

Rapture is a Deathrash misanthropy venture from Athens Greece, flying under the banner of the label FDA Records. The band was formed in early 2013 and in 2015 its first album “Crimes against Humanity” was released by Witches Brew on CD the same year, establishing the band as one of the most powerful live young bands of the Greek scene.   Rapture’s 2nd full-length album “Paroxysm Of Hatred” was released in January of 2018 via Memento Mori and it became the breakthrough point for the band to start gigging abroad, performing at various festivals but also with tours in Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Malta, Sweden and Denmark up until the hit of the pandemic which resulted in many more shows getting cancelled.  In 2021, Rapture stormed once again with the 3rd album “Malevolent Demise Incarnation” by the German label FDA Records receiving critically acclaimed reviews from the worldwide metal press and community and establishing the band even more in the metal scene. During 2022 and 2023 the band played extensively across Europe, with highlights being an exclusive performance in Portugal at Extreme Metal Attack festival, a short German tour with label mates Dehuman Reign and finishing 2022, with a direct support to Nile’s packed Athenian show - as requested guests from Nile, between numerous other performances in Greek and European festivals. Beginning of 2024, the latest album was repressed by FDA Records after being sold out, and the band is focusing on more touring, while at the same time, the composition of the next album is well underway. The band has played its first shows for 2024 in Netherlands, and has more shows ahead in Europe. A highlight for the band’s career Rapture is looking forward to storm with Anti-Music for the first time in Japan at Asakusa Deathfest!
