TRANSGRESSOR x Asakusa Deathfest 2019
We are here with an exciting news today! Who is Japanese doomy death metal band from the early 90’s scene? You know the answer right? One of the bands that Japan is proud of today and a legendary band, it is TRANSGRESSOR!!!
Formed in 1989 by Takashi (Dr/Vo) (Anatomia/Wormridden/Necrophile) and Junichi (Gt/Ba/Vo) after splitting up of the former band GAMVETTA, released two demos and one full-length album "Ether for Scapegoat" by Cyber Music in 1992. They were active playing local gigs around in 1992 with the complete line-up back then that was Takashi (Dr/Vo), Akihito (Ba, ex-Jurassic Jade), Kimihide (Gt, ex-Melt Down/Quench), and Yoshio (Gt, ex-Necro-E). Their music was pure grinding death in their earlier demo era, but shifted to slower death doom with more complex riff/tempo changes in the EFS and later period. One of the first bands that incorporated doom elements in the early DM scene.
Don't miss this chance to see them back together at ADF 2019 because it will be their first reunion show (in home ground Tokyo) since 2015, and especially with addition of guitarist Satoshi (from Spiral Wheel, ex-Sabbat) for their old set!
1992年、Takashi (Dr/Vo)、Akihito (Ba、ex-Jurassic Jade)、Kimihide (Gt、ex-Melt Down/Quench)、Yoshio (Gt、ex-Necro-E)の4人編成でライブをやっていたが、後に活動停止。
