WORMROT x Asakusa Deathfest 2017
君はグラインドヤギを知っているか?!? ライブ会場にファンと一緒になってグラインドバンドの演奏を観ているヤギがいた。そしてそのヤギも魅入ったグラインドバンドを知っているか?!
それがこのWORMROTだ!!
シンガポール出身のグラインドコア、WORMROTはグラインドコアの名門、EARACHEと契約しているバンドでもありチェコのObscene ExtremeやNetherlands Deathfestなどにも出演し国際的に活動しているバンドだ。 これまで3枚のフルアルバムを発表。どの曲も1分前後で衝動的で混沌的だがクールでスマートなグラインドソングを脳髄に叩き込んでくる。
そのWORMROTが2017年、浅草デスフェストの前夜祭にヘッドライナーとしてやってくる。 グラインドする用意は出来てる!?
Rule #1. Never suck.
Tight, short and succinct, those singaporean grinders have one hundred percent no compromise in getting their point across. Intense, skull-crushing sonic violence disgorge right into your brain. Are you fuckin’ ready to hear the voices? Are you fuckin’ ready to face the truth?
Rule #2. Fuck conformity.
Blindly following any single establishment would rot you, make you daft and senile. The trio have always managed to squeeze in as many influences as they could in their short but straight compositions. Ever since the 2009 debut full-length, they’ve proven themselves to be the adventurers of musical landscape.
Rule #3. Get it on.
As well as in their musical journey, they keep pushing themselves to be on the road as much as they can. They’ve toured several times in the US and Europe, including the Obscene Extreme Festival and the Netherlands Deathfest. WORMROT is attracting more and more global audiences, releasing the latter two full-lengths from the prestigious Earache Records. Asakusa Deathfest is proud to have them headlining our pre-fest!
